Mama Bears 02:38
I’ve been sitting, sitting, sitting on a cold stone floor. I’ve been knitting knitting knitting stitches, four by four. I will finish as I can’t sit no more then we’ll swaddle up your babe just like our mother’s did before. I am bleeding bleeding bleeding when I have no wound. I am heading heading echoes of an ancient tune. Do you notice that you house a sweet cocoon. Will you join and celebrate the changing of the moon? It flows flows flows within us, we were made to care. It grows grows grows this knowledge, braided in our hair. What source it runs from, I know not where. I don’t need to know to know that we are Mama Bears. We are like fire burning through the leaves. Beneath detritus wait the dormant seeds. Waiting to taste the life this planet weaves. Remove the old and the new thing breathes. We are a river running deep underground. Marching forward to that rhythmic sound. We offer freely this peace that we have found. Surrender to that current and you will not drown. There’s a steady steady pounding here within our veins. It’s a heady heady concept, we’re all filled the same. The same solution that makes up the sea and rain. When we’re moving on it is these things that will remain.

Traveller Traveller out on the road, Where are you going all on your own? How many miles from here to the start? How many more nights till you find your way home? CHORUS May you walk in the light in the wake of the shadow In the midst of the night may you know dawn is near May your path become clear when the roads become In the face of your fear may your heart never fail Traveller Traveller out in the dark, Are you running from troubles too big for such youth? Are you looking for something you cant seem to find? In a world of tricks do you search for the truth? Traveller Traveller in each new home, I hope you can find everything that you need. That the people you meet are just friends in disguise And good fortune will take up the lead. CHORUS Traveller Traveller rest here a while If you find you grow tired of this wandering game. When you leave to continue your travelling song, Know that this friend was glad that you came. CHORUS

Trees 04:06
*Verse 1* Tall trees, small house. Pacific breeze, forest close. Hardly room to spread your arms, infinite room to spread your soul. *Verse 2* All and more needed to live. Thank the earth for what she gives Moments, forever and fleeting. Easy grace in every meeting. *Pre-chorus* Life is what you make it. Things are what you take them for. We can’t alway see but we feel the pressure change when we open up a door. *Chorus* Have faith but don’t wait for it all to come around. Many paths, you’ve gotta choose the one to take. Climb to the top and you will see the other side. At the bottom all you’ll see is what you never tried. *Verse 3* You want a house, I want a home. You want the meat, I’ll take the bones. The world is ripe, you might as well eat. The skin is sour but the fruit is sweet. *Pre-chorus* *Chorus* *Verse 4* Rolling seas, atlantic coast. Living with ease, more than most. Our fruit is ripe, can’t wait to eat. Be it sour or be it sweet.

CHORUS My meat and bones, meat and bones, meat and bones My meat and bones, meat and bones x2 I think that I can guess what you imagine when you look, Meat and bones, meat and bones Does this live up to what they say you should want in a lover? What you should want between your covers? Meat and bones CHORUS This body of mine so familiar yet so strange Meat and bones, meat and bones Lines and curves some have loved when I couldn't Some have wanted when they shouldn't Meat and bones An idol of flesh that this soul is made to sleep in Meat and bones, meat and bones Some days it feels like a cage that I am trapped in Just the gift that i am wrapped in Meat and bones CHORUS I feel you set me in your sights like you might just want to fight with me Meat and bones, meat and bones I hear you say shhhhhh...........its okay Like a shouldn't be resisting Like I owe you for existing Meat and bones. It shouldn't take a bigger show for you to get that no means no Meat and bones, meat and bones You don't seem to care that your presence has me shaking Guess I'm there just for your taking Meat and bones CHORUS Do you ever stop to think what it is you leave behind? My meat and bones, meat and bones When you're done having your fun with my body and my mind Meat and bones meat and bones

Small Towns 04:00
*Verse 1* Fire in my belly, bellows in my heart, map in my head but I don’t know where it starts. Heart beating in my chest, two feet on solid ground. Everything I need why am I still hangin’ round this small town. Sun keeps on shining, wind, she’s gonna blow. Open up my sails and get ready to go. *Chorus 1* Oh, well I’m bound for a place where I don’t recognize the sound. Surrounded by four horizons I’ve never seen before. *Verse 2* Don’t know where I’m going’, know exactly where I’ve been. Born and raised and workin’ in this city that I’m in. All my roots are buried here, dear friends and family. But my lungs are full of fog and I’ve grown sick of industry. *Chorus 2* Soon I’ll wander, find new ground to pound my feet on. Free to wonder, no place to go, no one to see. I might sleep under nothin’ but the open sky and then someday I will turn around, retrace my steps and be so glad to come home again. *Verse 3* Don’t know what I’m looking for, I don’t know what I’ll find. Know that I won’t see it here with too much on my mind. Won’t have to go too far away, don’t need a lot with me. What I can carry on my back, a smile, good company. *Chorus 1*

Rebel Say 04:31
*Chorus* Rebels say, rebels say, rebels say oh rebels say “fuck the police, yeah, fuck the police bring us the peace and let go the leash”. *Verse 1* Most people will admit that life is full of knocks. Let those without sin throw the first rock. Through the wall of those folks living in glass, that shit ain’t cheap and you know it won’t last. Minding my own business, walking on by, when I passed a man, looked like a pretty decent guy, but he was talking to this kid who was sleeping on the street “Get a job, no one likes a deadbeat”. Kid looked him in the eye, said “I could be your son, one day I’ll be a father so treat me like one.” *chorus* Verse 2 Sometimes life is hard. Harder than you wanted it to be but if you look you’ll see what’s worth the fight hardly ever comes free. Sometimes the path ain’t clear, right foot, left foot, playing it by ear. Sometimes the way is plain, set your eyes head and take a look again. Spending too much time, looking ‘round behind. Who’s way am I going, who’s travelling mine? But you gotta turn around, yeah you gotta keep going down your road, with your head held high. Right foot, left foot, see you on the other side. *chorus* Verse 3 So I’ve got ten voices talking in my ear, “What’s good, what’s bad, run away, stay here?” I’m supposed to know what’s really going on, but the day’s so bright and the night’s so long. What’s right to day is tomorrow’s mistake, find what you want and love what you take. Try not to worry your pretty little head, the world will keep on turning. Minding my own business, walking on by, when I passed a man looked like a pretty decent guy, but he was talking to this kid who was sleeping on the street “Get a fucking job, no one likes a deadbeat”. Kid looked him in the eye, said “I could be your son, one day I’ll be a father so treat me like one.” Eating, sleeping, falling, flying, loving, fucking, hating, lying. We all hold on, we all mess up, we’re all so good but we’re all fucked up!! *chorus*
